One hundred and twenty-four earthquakes were located near Monticello Reservoir during 2000. They all had a ML less than 2.5 with the largest even having a magnitude ML = 2.3. Most of the events were located within the reservoir between stations MR10 and MR01. Except for two events, all the other depths were 3 km or shallower.
